Fellowship Hall Addition Ready to Serve Congregation and Community

Bolstered by growing community ministries, Arthur United Methodist Church was outgrowing its current space. Wednesday night ministries include after-school programs for children, evening programs for youth, and a community meal regularly attended by 250-plus people.

Reifsteck Reid used programmatic information they developed from a questionnaire and conducted meetings to discuss the translation of ministry needs into space needs. This process leads to consensus building among the congregation.

Campus Recreation ARC & CRCE Floor Replacements

Reifsteck Reid was retained by the University of Illinois to replace the flooring in two gyms at the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC) and a multipurpose court at the Campus Recreation Center East (CRCE). RRCo consulted with manufacturers to find the best options for the spaces.

The subfloor for the basketball courts at ARC is composed of 100% recycled material. The court at CRCE can be used for a wide variety of functions ranging from soccer and volleyball to rollerblading.

College of Veterinary Medicine Collaborative Spaces

Reifsteck Reid & Company Architects (RRCo) was retained by the University of Illinois to remodel the library and two classrooms in the Vet Med – Basic Sciences Building. RRCo completed design work to build a 75 seat innovative classroom with upgraded finishes – flooring and ceiling, lighting, painting, furniture, and audio-visual systems. The design also incorporates quiet learning spaces for students to study in groups or collaborate in the remaining space of the library.
