Reifsteck Wakefield Fanning was retained by Bible Baptist Church to develop a phased master plan to allow for continued growth of worship attendance and expanded ministries. The church had relocated to a former office building in west Champaign several years earlier. Blessed with abundant land for expansion the a master plan was created to accommodate many ministerial needs.

Phase 1 improvements included the creation of a new multi-purpose room that is used primarily for worship. Existing worship space was converted to fellowship needs. The worship space is flexible to allow re-arrangement of the seating area for several uses. The platform allows for varying worship styles and musical accompaniment.

Central to the plan and in clear view of all attendees is a sky-lighted immersion baptistery.
